Kogi state Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Idris (Musa Danjuma) Oando has admonished Nigerian youths on the need to become employers of labour via creativity.
The Commissioner who doubles as the Chairman, Nysc Governing Board in the State disclosed this at the Passing Out Parade for the 2021 Batch 'A' Corps members who observed their one year compulsory National Service on the shores of the Confluence.
Hon. Idris tasked the youths to “be creative and utilize the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, SAED scheme of the NYSC to become job creators”.

The youth ambassador in his address, applauded the giant stride efforts of the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his Siamese twin Deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja in providing enabling environment for young Nigerians to contribute their quota to National growth and development.
The Commissioner in the same vain acknowledged the good people of the State for their hospitality towards the young compatriots at their respective Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), while commending the Corps members for their immense contribution to the development of the State via initiated projects under the Community Development Scheme (CDS).
He further urged all outgoing Corp members to “uphold the tenets and ideals of the NYSC scheme” in their next phase of life.
He hailed the outstanding performance of Mr Emmanuel Ebems, an outgoing Corps member who was awarded by the State Nysc for his commitment and positive impact in his Place of Primary Assignment.
