From the news of your abduction by the 'acclaimed unknown gun men' to that sorrowful morning on Saturday when you were confirmed dead, I have been shivering, highly emotional with palpable fears not for the deceased but for your loving mother, an aged woman and that of my own mum (mother-in-law) whom you had high respect for. I betrayed the tears (even as a man) for the manner he was gruesomely murdered. It's well. I know we will not leave this life alive.

Hon Amedu (JP) was not just an in-law to me but a brother and a close confidant who had never failed to give useful and fruitful advice when needed. I remembered how he waded into the issue I had with my siblings and resolve it amicably to everyone chargrin. Hon Amedu JP was an expert or tactical fighter, warrior and one who knows how to win. I remembered vividly how he fought the mighties during the tussle for secretaryship of Ankpa Local Government.

He was compensated with the position of supervisory councilor for Education for his bravery. Anywhere he was, I have confidence of victory no matter how long the justice tarry. Now, who will fight his fight for him and give his soul a peace? He was a mentor who built confidence in me and taught me to take risk. He told me to always look @ the success side of the struggle and see the struggle as a mere obstacle.

As you transit to great beyond, remember your loving mum, give strength to your siblings and console your wife and children for your dead had created a vacuum that no one can replaced in their lives. Your three children should be your representative here and may you bequeath on them your kind of courage to overcome the storm of life.

You have fought for others and may your blood not only water the seed of Justice but nurtured your children to be more blessed than you.

Hon Amedu JP, this is not our agreement but I know if you had your way, you wouldn't had gone this way. Those that sent you on this journey will not see peace in their entire life!
Those who conspired to make your wife a widow, your mum, a wailing woman, your children, an orphans and your father's compound desolate will surely meet their deaths @ the gate of their success.

Rest in peace Hon Amedu Amedu JP
