The Education Secretary, Dekina LGEA Hon. Ebune who also double as the Chairman forum of Education Secretaries, Kogi East has called on the professional Teachers to participate in the 5Day training workshop organized by the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC) Abuja in collaboration with the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

Hon. Ebune said, the training was organized to enhance the capacity of Early Childhood Care Development Education (ECCDE) Teachers to enable them teach effectively for improved learners outcome.

The tireless Education Secretary who hosted others in his LGEA pointed out one of the challenges of ECCDE teachers is the inability to make their teaching learners centered and sustain the interest of their pupils while teaching. Also, the skill of creating teaching material out of materials found in their locality is lacking.

Hon. Ebune emphatically urged the participants to participate in all the activities of the workshop and to be able to acquire the knowledge and skills required to deliver in their various various school.

Hon. Ebune finally begged them to be focused and very resilient in order to achieve the objectives of the training.
