Kogi East Senator, Dr Isah Jibrin, sent team of Engineers from National Productivity Center (NPC) for an on-site assessment and to commence renovation of Asharu Palm Oil Mill and KSU Bakery immediately to full working capacity. Echocho who facilitated the projects through Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment charges the Engineers to ensure the two factories are fully revitalize to live again.
Appreciating the Senator's kind gesture, the Vice chancellor of the institution Professor Marietu Tenuche commended Senator Jibrin Isah, for his selfless representation. She thanks the Senator for having the University on his line of activities, assuring that they will always be at his support at all times.
You will recall that the Lawmaker had moved motions on diversification of Nigeria Economy to overcome dependency on crude oil, as well as revival of moribund Companies in Nigeria "Revival of moribund companies will grossly boost local production, improve our revenue generation, create job opportunities, reduce insecurities and lift food sufficiency in Nigeria for sustainable Economic development" Echocho stated this in one of his 2019 motions.
Representing the Senator at the three days sightseeing engagement for imminent kickoff of the projects, were Hon Ahmed Attah (APC Zonal Chairman) Comr. Ibrahim Ahmadu (Legislative Aid) and Mr. Okpanachi PA to the Senator respectively.
