Federal Lawmaker, Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa Partners REA To Provide Alternative Power Supply.

Member House of Representatives Committee on power,Rt Honourable Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa in partnership with Rural Electrification Agency REA. (PPP),has commence the process of providing alternative source of energy,aside AEDC.

This according to Rt Honourable Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa will go along way to reduce the suffering of the people in the rural areas, so as to forestall rural/urban drift by the people of his Constituency.

The Federal Lawamker made this observation during an inspection of areas to be covered in Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency.

According to Hassan Abdullahi,the rural areas in his Constituency  are predominantly with commercial status,with the people in dire need of alternative source of electricity, that will sustain both the small scale business and by extension buying and selling in the area through petty trading.

He says aside synergy with alternative energy providers through PPP,AEDC will also be encourage to a working template that will provide all round electricity to his Constituents.

According to the Federal  Lawmaker,areas earmarked for the first phase are Anyigba, Ologba, Oganenigu, Ogbabede, Odu, Egume, Oguma,Emi-Dale, Emewe-Ogane and Emewe-Ofojo,  all in Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency.

The Member House Committee on Power says the  process is designed to provide alternative power supply for rural dwellers, through the Public Private Partnership program(PPP), to reduce hardships and  black out, so as to make the rural areas attractive and viable alternative to Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSME's).
