The apex court will on Tuesday,June 23 determine the candidate of People's Democratic Party (PDP),in Kogi state for the last November 16 governorship election.
Abubakar Ibrahim,the runner up in the September 3 primaries, decided to approach the courts for not being declared as the PDP candidate in the last exercise, having scored the highest number of votes.
He approached both the Federal High Court and Court of Appeal that declared PDP without a candidate in the last election,while the higher court was non declaratory.
Abubakar is seeking for the declaration of the apex court as the party's candidate for the last November election,as the delegates preferred candidate.
The PDP declared Engineer Musa Wada as it's candidate, after presenting extra 600 votes from a private residence occassioned by the disruption by hoodlums, a day earlier at Lokoja Confluence stadium.
According to reports, PDP and INEC step down as joinder to the matter,after the non declaratory decision of the Court of Appeal,Abuja
