Member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims during the week presented variety of items to dozens of constituents assembled in Ankpa.
Hon Halims used the event to provide relief from the prevailing harsh economic situation in the country to the people of his constituency especially for the Ramadan season.
According to a beneficiary, Mr Suleiman Edogbo, Hon Halims' generosity, selflessness and works of charity started long before he was elected to the National Assembly and therefore could be said to be a sustained philanthropism.
Amidst hundreds of constituents who gathered to receive the materials, the honorable who was ably represented by his Legislative Aide, Barr Tony Omali exhorted the people of the area not to lose hope, even in the face of yhr ravaging Covid-19 harsh economic impacts.
He urged them to put all hope in God and pray fervently especially during this holy month of Ramadhan as God is the ultimate healer of all ailments, stressing that coronavirus would soon be a thing of past, not only in the country but worldwide.
Halims said He remain optimistic about making life better for all the people domiciled in his federal Constituency, particularly the unemployed, widows and the less privileged.
