First let me thank you all for your spirited support and campaign for Engr. Musa Wada, we shall all make history come November 16th, 2019.

Once again, I want to enlighten us as we approach Saturday’s election, when we will be electing a governor who will rescue us from this plague staring us in the eyes.

Although your votes will be cast for one political party or the other, let me remind you that you will actually be voting for your wellbeing, security, prosperity and future.

You will also be voting for the future of your children. You will be choosing candidates and a party that you will entrust your lives to.

Think hard, think clearly and think deeply. Ask yourselves a few questions like;
Which candidate has shown a better record and example of protecting and securing you?

Which of the candidates will care more for your well being?

How do you ascertain the sincerity of the candidates as it relates to the promises they have made to you?

Which of the candidates do you think will address Ganaja junction to Ganaja village dual road and which one do you think because he glides in SUV on that road he doesn't see it as his cup of tea?

Which of the candidates is showing you in his policy document that you can hold him responsible if he fails to deliver?

Which of them cares more about your children and their safety?

Indeed ask yourself; which of the candidates threatened and chased you with thugs during 2019 general election which as a result we lost Daniel Usman and which is seeking to protect you by all means necessary?

Ask yourself when last you feel state government presence in your area.

Ask yourself when last local government election was conducted to bring governance closer to you.
Ask yourself who collected 540 billion within 3-4 years and nothing to show for it.

Dear Kogites, your choice of who to vote for will be easy if you answer these questions within yourself honestly.

Indeed, you have clear choices to make between candidates that will use your resources to develop your society and community on the one hand, and the party that chooses to bring money to you for distribution when election beckons.

So, you can choose between schools for your children, hospitals for your community, roads for your transportation or in the alternative, you can choose to have these services monetised once in four years.

Remember, that choices have consequences and your vote will decide the choice that shapes your lives.

Dear Kogites, it is tempting to take the right and opportunity to vote for granted. It is tempting to think that it is too much trouble.

I agree that the process can be made much easier. But it is no excuse to refuse to vote.

Please come out and vote, don't be deterred by their threat. To vote its your civic right and I bet you it will count.

Think of all the pain, the effort, the sleepless nights it took to get the PVCs to you. Think of the best way to show that the effort was not wasted or in vain.

It seems to me that the best way is to have all these 1.6 Million voters come out to vote.
Do not refuse to vote, by refusing to vote is disservice to your state.

By refusing to vote, you surrender decision making to a few and you will be bound by the consequences of your choices.

By refusing to vote, you do a great disservice to many who have lived before you, who fought very hard at great personal costs to themselves, to earn you this right.

By refusing to vote, you dishonour the sacrifice of patriots before you who fought for the right to vote.
Remember that when they were fighting for the right to vote, they were not fighting for yesterday, they were fighting for today and tomorrow.

Remember late Stephen Achema, late Sen. A.T Ahmed, remember Chief Sunday Awoniyi, do not forget late Prince Abubakar Audu.

They have handed today to you and I, can we secure tomorrow for the next generation?

Ask yourself when last did you see any major facelift in Lokoja, our state capital.
This is not in accordance with the promise late Prince Abubakar Audu made when we voted him massively in 2015 before the inevitable happened.

Vote Engr. Musa Wada, he is who I will vote for and I urge you to think about doing same as you vote on Saturday.

This (Kogi) is the place that we call our home. It is the home to everybody. It is the place of great history, it is the confluence of opportunities, it is a place where the homeless arrive and are made welcome.
It is the place where generations of Nigerians have lived and worked in peace without rancour.
This is the place where we practiced and play politics without bitterness, 2019 gubernatorial election shouldn't be any different.

Tell those who try to divide us that our greatest strength has always been our diversity.

Tell them that you feel safe with Engr. Musa Wada as your governor.

Let nobody foist any candidate on you.
When they reel out audio projects they constructed in Kogi , please ask them to take you to the location of the projects.

When they promise you they will perform in their second term, tell them they are not to be trusted.
When they promise you heaven on earth, remember their broken promises on health, infrastructure and many more.

Ask them to show you a plan, if they can produce one, which is doubtful, ask them whether they made use of any plan since 2016.

Tell them that you have seen Engr. Musa Wada's policy document, that the revival of Lokoja water works, health care, power supply, free basic education, unemployment reduction, portable water supply to rural areas and many more which are part of the plans for you and your children.

Tell them that you will vote to keep a plan that you can see, that you believe it is workable, instead of a plan that you have not seen.

Ask them what happened to New Direction Blueprint (2016).

Tell them that this election is not about money, tell them that it is not about ethnicity and it is not about religion.

Tell them that this election is about the place you call your home, the place you earn your living and the place where your investments will be safe.

Tell them that you will not play ethnic or religious politics with your survival. Tell them that you will not vote with anger.

Tell them that you will vote with common sense and for experience.

Tell them that you have seen Kogi struggling to breathe, and you wish to see her flourish.
That will be the most historic thing you will have done, rescuing Kogi with your votes.
History and tomorrow beckons. Don’t turn your backs.
