He cautioned on the need to reverse the decision without further delay, particularly as it prepares to confront the ruling party, APC both in Bayelsa and Kogi with determination to win without distraction.

"The suspension which has lasted since 5th of July 2019 is worrisome to us and if allowed to continue will only lead to negative consequences for our great party as we prepare for the upcoming gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa and Kogi states".

Efosa thanked the National Chairman of PDP, PrinceUche Secondus and his National Working Committee, for the success recorded in the last general election, as well as the determination to reclaim the stolen mandate at the on going Presidential tribunal.

"We will like to first of all salute our National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and his National Working Committee members, the PDP Board of Trustees (BOT) and all members for a job well done as regards the success recorded by our party in the last general elections as well as the ongoing effort towards reclaiming our presidential mandate at the tribunal".

"The suspended members of our party were not given fair hearing and we are therefore using this medium to passionately appeal to you to use your good office to immediately call off this suspension so as to ensure that we save our party from a crisis that is clearly a display of oversight.

The suspension of this newly elected House of Reps members in our opinion is an overkill of some sort as the laid down procedure of suspending an erring member was not followed".

"Sir, we all need to understand that PDP is not the only minority political party in the House of Representatives and as such if we must play the defined role of opposition aptly as the majority in the minority we must be seen to exist above parochial interests and party politics in matters that require a broader approach beyond party lines".
