For the sake of peace, people and progress of Kogi State, anything short of the above caption titled remain a mirage. Very pertinent to no...
At this juncture, I want politicians in Kogi State to shelve their pride and the unfruitful rudeness and begins the move for proper negotiation and alignment that will build a strong synergy among varying parties to ensure formidable strength to alleviate people of Kogi State in the next election.
I want politicians to recognize the strength of one another politically this time. Show those that you really want them to join you from the camp and canopy of the current administration the essence of calling them. Give them proper roles with appropriate commitment. No politician will ever agree to disengage his/her commitment from their political patrons on the mere basis of trying to correct the wrong of their administration.
Everyone is indeed looking for personal progress and relevance in the country politically, it will be difficult and if not impossible to convince someone to support your ideas without properly creating a Safeline for such person. Anything less than urgent in doing the necessary things now, we should forget it. If politicians in Kogi State really mean business of taking over power from the sitting government, anything less than unity amongst parties and their players is a house divided against itself and it can't stand.
The following are my kind recommendations
> There should be urgent setup of reconciliation committee
> the scope and framework of the committee should include identifying those on the page of administration lists
> define clearly the role that will be assigned to them and ensure you really want them to work for the success of your plans
> agreed on the terms and conditions of working for the new position you are taking them.
> make them relevants and avoid stigmatising them as second hand supporters
> engage them frequently in anything important assignment
Without hesitation and fear, I conclude that egocentric nature of our politicians and leaders, praise-singers and get-quick-syndrome politics in our society should be put to rest this time for the sake of humanitarian salvage from the bondage of Bello's administration.
l equally beg for support in creating more awareness in a serious way that everybody and person in the state would be involved. Violence can only further hampered the expected success in the upcoming state general elections. We should focus on the quality contributions and meaningful relationship across the nook and cranny of the state especially this trying time.
GOD, GIVE MY PEOPLE THE UNDERSTANDING TO FIGHT FOR PURPOSEFUL MISSION
