The redemption of kogi state requires a purposeful and a true leader who offer herself and commit her wealth for the sake of the people, princess Iye Grace Adejoh is exemplary and Kogi of our dream is possible with her.

The Facebook live streaming interview segment which lasted for the period of 20minutes was conducted by Comrade Okanyi Enemali, and the following questions were  answered appropriately.

Can you tell us about you?

My name is princess Iye Grace Adejoh, a native of Anyigba, my parents are indigenous settler of the place, (Ataja family), happily married and my husband is fully in support of my ambition.

Are you satisfy with state call Kogi state?

There is no point changing the dice, if thing are right I won't come out to change them, you only strive to change the wrong things, thus my coming our is evidence of my dissatisfaction with the state.

How do you see yourself as the only woman contesting among men especially from the PDP stock?

Its strength to me and I don't feel like a woman but a person, a human being who can do best in Kogi rejuvenation.
Gender does not matter this critical time, I feel I can liberate Kogi state and I advise anyone with such capacity to come and join forces with us to salvage our state  from poverty and killings.

What prompted as a woman or a mother to come out?

As a mother we are more concern about putting food on the table for our children, creating hope for them even when there is no food, Kogi state has lost such confidence and hope. This exasperated me as mother to come out from the stance of courage to alleviate hunger in the land with rebirth hope for kogites. My coming out is on the motivation of hardship, putting and end to Hunger, killing, thuggery and social vices as well as bringing to bear empowerment, jobs creation, and skill developments without compromise.

What is the problem of kogi state?

The problems of kogi state is leadership and character, Godfatherism, and greed. Kogi need a leader with good character, one who do not rely on Godfathers to become the governor, one who has the Will to do the right thing. I have good character, I m not on the watchlist of corruption globally and do not depends on anyone to get there but building trust in the delegates and electorates who are not ready to trade Kogi state for money bag.

What will you do different from others?

I will prioritize the state allocation with good management, Agricultural diversification, resources developments and industrialization to boast production, opportunities, jobs creation, youth and woman empowerment, tourism developments among others. I am the best and most fortunate governor to be.

How do you intend to disarm thugs and retrieve their arms?

By Putting jobs in their hands, and amnesty program, they will drop the arms.  Those who refuse to surrender will go to jail where they shall be reform, Build and rehabilitated to become productive youths not to rot in the sinkhole of the prison.

There is a rising global agitation for involvement of women in governance, and the fulfilment of my ambition will attract global attention. On this note I consider myself as the best and I believed in myself to change Kogi state to our dream land,  a Kogi that we can be proud of, a Kogi that will attract global attention for business.

Lastly, I m happy talking to my people through this medium, it's indeed an opportunity and a privilege.  For the greatness of Kogi state I enjoin you all join forces with us in preaching this ambition.
Thanks and God bless you all.

Compiled by Princess Iye Grace Adejoh media team.
