It is not quite long that the rainy season has started but the major roads in Anyigba town have become things of worry for many people especially the natives and users of the roads. The roads have nearly become impassable hence the vehicles or motorcycles have no alternative than to queue in order to create way for them to pass one after another.

Besides heavy rain, the bad condition of roads and culverts is another major cause of unexpected flood in this town. This unexpected flood had previously caused homelessness and loss of lives and properties. Considering what the community have experienced in the latest rainfall, If proactive approach is not taken, I envisage the repeat of the threat of the flood in this season in some parts of the area, but may the Almighty Allah forbid.

Apart from the poor condition of roads, power outage or lack of steady power supply is another major worry for natives of this famous town in Igalaland. Electricity was brought in the name of Anyigba, but it is funny that the town often experiences irregular and interrupted power supply while the outskirts or villages that the electricity was extended or stepped down enjoy 24 hour uninterrupted power supply. What a pathetic situation!

Anyigba, widely and unarguably known to be the 'HEART OF IGALALAND', should have been developed more than it is today but the reverse is the case. Apart from the Igala Unity Square Roundabouts and university that give this town mere beauty and attraction, what other attractions can we confidently mention they can be found besides the aforementioned.

Conclusively, Anyigba as the 'Centre or Heart of Igalaland' needs good roads, uninterrupted power supply and other infrastructure to enable it to continue enjoying its moment of glory.
